Yamaha Morpho 

 

Super-Futuristic ! That's the right word for describe the motor was introduced in the Tokyo Motor Show 26 years ago. In moment of its introduction, even this bike has gained special attention from
observers automotive around the world, and so one of the most desirable concept bike for entered mass production stage.

Armed with an unique design, Bimota Tesi - Forkless Style front suspension, plus 400cc engine (Morpho I) & 1.000cc (Morpho II), Yamaha Morpho finally able to be realized by Yamaha in 1993, the figure Yamaha GTS1000. . . In fact, the figure of his "Real Version" was also considered a Yamaha's "Show Off Ability "in developing a superb product. . . Fantastic !

Yamaha Gen-Ryu !

Well, Nobody doubted The super-futuristic figure of Honda's Vultus NM4. And guess what ? Even Yamaha motorcycle named Gen-Ryu, with NM4-Look a Like, already there since almost one decade ago ! And it's more, more, and more advanced than the Suzuki G-Strider introduced a few years earlier.

Not only the exterior, which is capable  to makes this bike so beloved ... But also thanks to the YZF R6's Inline-Four Powered Engine, plus Electrical machines are also crammed in a motorcycle! Yes, Yamaha Gen-Ryu is a Super-Futuristic, Super-Fast, and even Super-Hybrid-Powered Motorcycle !!

 Yamaha 01GEN

 

 This is one of the most radical Crossover Adventure motorcycle concept... Yeah, named Yamaha 01GEN , which is introduced at the Intermot 2014, a year ago. Carrying the concept of crossover, This motorcycle concept brings a very eccentric appearance with three wheels, with 2 wheels on the front and 1 at back... which is claimed to penetrate various fields , like motorcycle true adventurer . . .





Although this unique 3 wheel system has been first in use by Yamaha Tricity... But keep in mind , this is a crossover ! Not a mini-scooter like Tricity. And, still I can't imagine if this cool concept would be mass-produced. How much about the price ?

Yamaha MT-01 Prototype

 

In Neo-Riders opinions... Perhaps this is one of the most successful concept of Yamaha motorcycles ever.  Why I said so ? Yeah, because the motor was named MT - 01 Concept is the " Basic foundation " of Yamaha's coolest collection, Yamaha MT - Series ! And the examples, you can see it by yourself in the Yamaha MT - 07 , MT - 09 and MT - 01, that are already mass-produced.





Atsushi Ishiyama & June Tamura , as the designer , it is basically embed a unique concept in the MT - 01 is ... First , Motorcycle Ergonomics character Steady & Well-Torque ( That's why this bike is called MT , which means Master - Torque ), so convenient to use well, though in heavy traffic. Second, this motorcycle-prototype has a unique voice-booming exhaust like Tsuzumi Drum, a traditional Japanese drum ( And guess what , Yamaha also manufacturer of musical instruments isn't t it? ). Despite the original carrying the V-Twin engine , and a mass-production version use a different Inline-Engine , but it does not diminish the character of the MT-Series power and torque. The result ? You can see for yourself in the Yamaha product that Neo-Riders mentioned before.

A Concept-Bike is usually has a unique design and features, quirky, crazy, and so on ... But what if there is a concept motor bike that inspired other concepts ? Yes , That Yamaha Tesseract ! 4 - wheeled motorcycle that inspire the birth of Tricity Concept, 01GEN Concept, 03GEN Concept, Quadro Concept, even up to 125cc Yamaha Tricity that already produced !




First exhibited about 7 years ago , Yamaha Tesseract Concept is a 4 wheeled motorcycle-concept, and engine from Yamaha special hybrid created for the exhibition at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007 event . . This motor was designed by Luciano Marabese Specials which are mainstay for 4-wheeled motorcycle Designers. The design is , arguably so Scary ! That's all can you see, wrote in his sharp body angles, and tapering really ... When viewed from the front , in my humble opinion we seemed to see a monster that is ready to devour its prey !
